Early, On Time and Late (What to do with Time)
Early is on time, and on time is late . This is a blog post that might "step on your toes", offend or make you feel better about yourself, yet it's about time. Get it. Time. Hahaha. I'm so funny. As a young kid my parents attempted to instill the importance of being somewhere way before I thought it was necessary, yet as an adult, I understand why my parents did this. We were at church at least 30 minutes prior, going to appointments we were always early, even waiting for th

Welcome Back to Lessons for 2026

Happy New Year 2026
As each chapter of the year ends and a new one begins, just want to say thanks for your support for 2025. I'm so blessed and grateful for all that each of you have done to make this year so special. The summer camps of Disney Villians music and choreography, the fun of doing Snow White Lite again as a short 2 hour camp and ending with music, staging and choreography from Mary Poppins was life-changing for me. Especially the costuming for Mary Poppins made the camp so outstand

Merry Christmas
Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas. Hope today is, plus continues the best Christmases ever. Enjoy Sleigh Ride Duet Fantasy by Leroy Anderson arranged by Zach Heyde and Frank Tedesco. I've had this duet for so long, I finally decided to work on it. I wish that saying Thank You was enough for your support. I'm so blessed beyond measure for your support, to serve the community and world with music and theater. May you have a Christmas filled with love, joy, peace, ho
Happy Winter Solstice
Hope that you're doing well. Just wanted to share a piano solo called Winter Winds by Chrissy Ricker from pianopronto.com . The selection written in the key of E minor is designed for Early Intermediate Piano, is a great way to represent how the winds can blow during the winter season. Ricker delineates the tempo as Flowing Quickly, while the hands move as the wind. Incorporated in the solo are quarter note triplets in the Treble Clef, arpeggiated chords in the introduction,

Last Lessons for 2025
What a blessing teaching has been this year. Thanks for your support. Blessings.

An Ornamental Christmas Studio Event YouTube Live
What an incredible Christmas Event this 2025, as my students sang together three group songs, each vocalist had a solo, the piano students did duets, trios and quartets and all while we did our first ever YouTube Live. This opportunity was brought about by hours of work to identify how to make the Studio Event Live. Thanks to Tim and Josaih for their incredible advocacy with the YouTube Live. You're a blessing to have in my life. I learned so much through this event and the

Sharing Some YouTube Practice Videos
For several months I've created practice YouTubes of music I'm trying to work on. Hope you enjoy these videos. With all the upcoming Christmas Concerts for the schools I accompany for and a studio event, I'm still trying to learn other music. These videos are filled with errors and are not perfect, yet I'm trying to learn new music. I've been working on this for many years and finally took a risk. Hopefully this will be the Christmas song I'll share for this year. What are yo
New YouTubes of Christmas Music I've Never Performed
Christmas music is definitely my favorite. The joy of the season is contagious to me. I love listening to Christmas music a bit too much. Wanted to take a moment to share some newer YouTubes that I'm excited about during the Christmas season. Hope you feel the energy of Christmas and enjoy these newer selections for me to perform. This is a new song created by Chrissy Ricker, from pianopronto.com , called Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a combination of Silent Night and Mozart's Son

Online Group Class Last Week
Last week was amazing with the students preparing for the upcoming Studio Event called An Ornamental Christmas. On Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving, I had a chance to do a piano and vocal group class and everyone had a blast. The piano students did a piano quartet of an arrangement I created of Deck the Halls. Each student had a specific section that they played as a solo, yet their faces were beaming with pride as they created a video of the song. I'm so proud of them.
