May Peace Continue to Reign in Our World

This last week was "different", as my kids and I were sick all week with sinus issues. So we missed going to school, me accompanying and teaching lessons all week. Thankful for the rest during this week and so ready to teach lessons tomorrow and go back to school after Martin Luther King Jr Day today.

Yet wanted to take a moment to share an improv of the song Let There Be Peace on Earth, created in California by a husband/wife team of composers. Jill-Jackson-Miller reached a point of depression that led to suicidal thoughts. Through Jill's darkest despair, the lyrics and music came at a Youth Retreat, which has become a global song, releasing Jill from the pits of suicide. That's the best blessing ever overcoming these mental beliefs. Each day we need more peace in our lives and ultimately it comes from God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit and peace dwells in each of us. Also in honor of Dolly Parton's 80th Birthday, she and other artists performed the song Light of a Clean Blue Morning, a concept we need every day in a changing world. May we continue to be a light in the dark.
