Day 1 of Flora and Ulysses Camp

Do you know what is humbling? When people believe in what you're doing. I wasn't sure if and how this camp would work out, especially adding an extra 30 minutes. Yet today was an absolute blast, even though I was stressing, nervous, anxious, excited, filled with joy.
My favorite part was their smiles and willingness to try new things. I'm so proud of each actor/actress. I felt overwhelmed in the best way.
Got them to read in the summertime. I'll call that a good thing.
Do you see the laughs? Made my day.
A typewriter that my parents donated. So grateful.
Explained that the actors/actresses that this play is "bigger than myself", "stretching me" and I'm so delighted to watch them grow in this time and being able to serve them well.
