Friday was the performance of the play Flora and Ulysses, the play from Plays for New Audience, Book Author by Kate DiCamillo and play adaptation by John Glore. Several years ago I did a Summer Music Theater Camp of a show choir, music-only Encanto Camp. It had shown in theaters prior and everyone knew the music so well. They learned vocals, choreography, staging, costuming in the camp, yet by Wednesday they were unmanagable, hard to stay focuses and potentially a fight broke out. Do you know what is humbling? When people believe in what you're doing. I wasn't sure if and how this camp would work out, especially adding an extra 30 minutes. Yet today was an absolute blast, even though I was stressing, nervous, anxious, excited, filled with joy. My favorite part was their smiles and willingness to try new things. I'm so proud of each actor/actress. I felt overwhelmed in the best way. Got them to read in the summertime. I'll call that a good thing. Do you
