Inquiries When You Take a Risk That Doesn't Work

So today I had to cancel the Sister Act 2 Show Choir Camp, as I didn't have enough participants. After getting set up and one of the girls showed up, I realized that the others were not showing up. So this brought on inquiries. There are no answers to these questions, yet I was reminded that I took a risk, that maybe others would not have tried. I had some people say I didn't know you were doing the camp until two days before. I have been sharing about the show choir camp for many months.

What did I do wrong? I shared on FB, had other local companies share on their websites. I was told several times that I didn't do anything wrong. It was brought to my attention about the world's condition: economy, Iranian war, an election year, other companies providing opportunities in music theater. (Which I'm not here to compete with and thankfully no one else here in the Wichita area is competing either).

Why didn't I decide to cancel the camp before today? Why take a risk if it's not going to work? How does a risk affect us when the camp/event does not happen? Is it worth working on something that may or may not work? How does this affect confidence and mental health issues? is this my ebb? Why did I work so hard on camp that wasn't going to happen? What am I supposed to learn?

Honestly I don't have answers, yet I'm trying to move forward with other gigs occurring the next two weeks in July.

Yet I need to remind myself that I took a risk and that's what matters. What are you doing that is a risk and you're not sure if it will occur? What are your thoughts? Would like to know. Thanks for your support. Blessings.
