During my birthday week in August, I created a song and finally had a chance to make a video and share it. Life has been busy returning as an accompanist for the school, plus preparing for two school concerts and a studio event this week. Yet wanted to work on the song today.
When I created this one-page song, I was thinking about about the days of long ago when royalty would arrive and a fanfare was blasting. The song is in the Key of D Major, is a great way to introduce eighth, sixteenth and thirty-second notes. The short selection contains chord inversions, arpeggios, descending scales, fermattas and rolls/trills. Plus I incorporated two different tempos in the short selection. Here is the link:
