New YouTubes of Christmas Music I've Never Performed

Christmas music is definitely my favorite. The joy of the season is contagious to me. I love listening to Christmas music a bit too much. Wanted to take a moment to share some newer YouTubes that I'm excited about during the Christmas season. Hope you feel the energy of Christmas and enjoy these newer selections for me to perform.

This is a new song created by Chrissy Ricker, from pianopronto.com, called Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a combination of Silent Night and Mozart's Sonata in A Major. This peaceful solo is in the key of G Major is a great way to teach on dotted quarter notes with an eighth note after. This is a piece worth learning and teaching. Would be great for church services, studio events, performances. You will certainly love the selection.

This duet of Gesu Bambino by Pietro Yon arranged by Eugenie Rocherolle, is a flowing, moving, sensitive, emotional selection about Baby Jesus. The duet is written in the Key of D Major, yet implements C and F Major chords, my favorite when music utilizes chords not in the key signature. Your Intermediate and above students will enjoy the musical journey the selection will take them.

For now this is a fun arrangement of Jingle Bell Rock performed by Amy Grant, that I played and sang. I really love singing Christmas Music. The "Bridge" and "Outro" create a new vibe for the lyrics: It's the right time to rock the night away" is filled with so much swing. Plus the verse incorporates staccato in the piano accompaniment. Love this selection.

What are some of your favorite Christmas songs that you know or are learning? Would like to know. Thanks for your support. Blessings.
