I just wanted to share a song that one of my voice students sang called "The Kite" from You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. The selection focuses on Charlie Brown's experience of flying a kite and the opportunities that appear to happen. (He struggles with getting kite in the air, usually landing in a tree). The song explores a large vocal range, tempo changes,
and fast-paced lyrics, which will help any singer become successful. Samuel outdid himself with this hilarious character piece. I'm so proud of you, sir. Keep singing and trying. You're doing very well. I hope you enjoy this performance. What songs are you having your students learn that are a great "stretch" for you and them? Would like to know. Thanks for your support. Blessings.
