The past weeks have been extremely busy working at some schools for a District Middle School Contest, working on summer camps, teaching lessons and running a business. Yet in the midst of all of this, a student asked me to explain the difference between major and minor chords. So I created a chart starting with a C Major chord, next a C minor chord, all the way up to a Cb minor chord, ascending with Treble and Bass Clef. Here's the link to this chart. Hope it helps your students see and hear the difference of each chord.
Treble Clef
Bass Clef
The second song is a very short composition I wrote called Tacos are My Favorite. Which is a valid statement. I can eat tacos. This simple 8 measure song shows where C-G in the Treble and Bass Clef are, ascending and descending. The lyrics express my love for Tex Mex. Maybe it encourage more eating of tacos. Here's the link.
What else are you creating for your students? Would like to know. Thanks for your support. Blessings.
