The studio is preparing for a free online theater event on March 26th @ 2 pm ( that should be about 40 minutes long) and we want to invite you to our production of the Wizard of Oz, adapted by Stephen Hotchner. The students have been working diligently for this upcoming play. What we need of course is an audience,(since it has many moments of participation) where we will use some type of virtual room for the event. (I'm working this detail out, as I use zoom for the limited free time provided). Yet if you are interested in providing a donation to cover the costs, that would be great. Yet the event is completely free.
The story picks up with Dorothy has been kidnapped by the Wicked Witch and here friends the Scarecrow, Tin Man and Lion are going to "rescue" her. Since the play is an adaption, the writer used some options that are not in the book and movie.
If you think you would be interested in attending this free theater event, please let me know and as we get closer I'll be in touch about what type of virtual room we'll use. If you attend, you're welcome to dress up as a character from Oz. We especially need Muchkins to help rescue Dorothy.
