Charlie and Chocolate Factory Musical Choreography

Next week we start our Charlie camp, where students will work on the Richard George play adaptation. I'm very excited to share the dances to the music we'll be learning. As most of them are from the Broadway Musical. I don't claim to be a dancer, yet with help from YouTube tutorials and what I've learned in the past, I'm able to get by. Hope this inspires you to continue music theater in your community. The goal for me is to make the movements easy, yet still provide opportunities for those who participate to learn some new "steps". Again I'm not a dance instructor, yet so thankful to share what I've learned over the years.

This first one is Wonka's Welcome Song from the Johnny Depp movie version. This has been a favorite of mine.

This one is called The Oompa Loompa Song/Auf Wiedersehen Augustus Gloop from the Broadway Musical. Really a fun song to learn, plus some beginning German dance steps are incorporated throughout the song.

This last one is called Veruca's Nutcracker Sweet.

Again I don't claim to be a dance instructor, yet learned some moves to make the camps tons of fun. What are you trying that's a bit "outside of yourself"? Would like to know. Thanks fo your support. You're a blessings.
