YouTube of James and the Giant Peach Camp

On Friday, June 7th we presented the performance of James and the Giant Peach play by Roald Dahl, adapted by Richard George, which was tons of fun to present to the audience. Everyone did an outstanding job. We had two Narrators who improv their lines as comic relief, which helped keep the story going so well. Two people play the Earthworm, who both brought a diverse perspective of the character. Two ladies multi-tasked as Aunt Sponge and Aunt Spiker, and the Spider and LadyBird. Plus we had extras being the Cloud Men, Sharks, Sea Gulls, Captain, First, and Second Mate.

The music we performed is from the Broadway Show, created by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, including Right Before Your Eyes, There's Money on the Tree, Floating Along, and Welcome Home. Was so blessed to choreograph, direct, and produce the entire play. I'm so blessed for every parent that helped. Thanks again to everyone who helped put on this play/musical. I'm so blessed. Hope you enjoy the show.

My favorite thing is that we worked 9 hours only to present the show and honestly no one knew the music or parts of the story, yet many of them had their lines memorized. What a blessing to serve the community with music theater. This was tons of fun and I certainly learned more about putting on a show.

I actually want to do this play again or other plays soon. What is something you've done that was definitely "bigger than yourself"? I would like to know. Thanks for your support. Blessings.
