Marche Funebre D'Une Marionnette by Charles Gounod
This weekend we prepare for Halloween and wanted to share about a song that I've played as easy arrangements before, yet finally set the goal to learn the original song. The Funeral March of the Marionettes by Charle Gounod is famous from the Alfred Hitchcock Show. As a kid I remember watching reruns of the show on PBS and he used this song as his theme song to his famous show. I've wanted to learn how to play the song and spent a lot of time working on it. She also mentions why she wrote this book, based on her children's skeleton art work. She states: "I’ve saved many crafts my kids hav

With the weekend event coming up, I'm planning a couple extra ideas for the next two weeks. A while ago, I found a rhythm dictation to the song Purple People Eater from p

Plus we're getting ready for a Halloween event with our students and of course I'm trying to introduce Christmas music. Haha. Yet wanted to take a moment to share about something new for Christmas this year that I'm very excited about from Wendy Stevens @ composecreate.com. She created cup rhythms to songs from the Nutcracker, in
