Merry Christmas
Hope everyone has an amazing Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thanks for all your support. Enjoy this arrangement of The First Noel by Carol Matz. Again Merry Christmas.

New Winter Composition
Last month a gentlemen named Nikolas Sideris shared that he was going give away free songs for the month of December on a Piano Facebook page. After doing some brief research, I was impressed by what I saw on his website and the music he created. So I went ahead and shared my email. Next Friday he sent an email with two compositions, including one called Under the Winter Sun, a great song for today, since it's the first day of Winter. This new song is in the key of C Major, y

Twelve Days with Entertainer
This year I came across an arrangement of the Twelve Days of Christmas, a song always sung during Christmas. The person who was blessings the other sure loved and was willing to give some of the best gift options. Who wouldn't want 10 Lords of Leaping, 5 Golden Rings or a partridge in a pear tree? Maybe we would want a gift card or cash. LOL. This arrangement is from Piano Pronto by Chrissy Ricker called the Twelve Days of Christmas that included parts of the Entertainer by S

Completely Online Christmas Event
Just wanted to take a moment to share how A Nutty Christmas went last Saturday. Everyone did an outstanding job and I'm so proud of all the students and their hard work and effort they put into the event. Everyone outdid themselves, stepping up to succeed. Our morning session included our voice and acting students who did a fun scene from The Nutcracker and Mouse King and our vocal students shared many Christmas favorites and even some modern Christmas music. The guests who a

New Christmas Musicals and Movies
Just wanted to take a moment that in the midst of last minute preparations for our studio event, our family have been watchings some new Christmas movies and musicals. Perhaps when I get a chance, I can share more about the movies. Yet wanted to give a short list to consider. Three are on Netflix and another was just shown on Dec 9th on NBC. The first one is called Christmas on the Square starring Dolly Parton as an Angel trying to save a small town from a rich realtor who wa

Last Minute Christmas Studio Event Preparations
This week has been a whirlwind, as we prepare for our studio event this weekend. I feel like Santa, as I'm checking over the programs to make sure every name and song is correct, sending it off to my friend who helps make the programs look so successful, working with the students for the last week of lessons for the year. Ever student is doing well and I couldn't more proud of each of them as they prepare for an end of the year event. This year we're doing two separate events

Completely Online Studio Christmas Event
So next Saturday December 12th our studio is preparing for a Nutty Christmas Event, where students will share music and acting from the Nutcracker. Our students have been diligently working hard each week to make progress and demonstrate with proficiency the music and scripts. The event was to be at a local church, yet due to covid 19 being so bad in our area I decided to completely do everything online. I've been talking to friends all day on how to make the event successful

Jingle Jangle
Just wanted to take a few minutes to share about a Christmas movie that our family has watched on Netflix. Those who have taken the time to create the film have really taken Christmas to new levels. From sets, costumes, props, new actors are taking new highest with the recent production. The film is called Jingle Jangle, telling the story of Jeronicus Jangle, a toy maker who creates all types of toys that kids will want to play with. His inventions are known all over the town
