Last week I shared about an online student who created part of a song and during the lesson we finished the one page Halloween Song called Pumpkin's Playing. The song is in C minor, mostly in the C position. Yet Kylie incorporates an Ab above Middle C. The song begins with an Allegro (fast) tempo, yet moves to an Adagio (walking speed) in the third line. Plus she includes a fermata and a caesura (pause before the next line) in the Adagio section. Kylie uses a step melody in the Treble Clef, yet sounds spooky with the C minor and Ab Major chords in the Bass Clef. Her use of dynamics are amazing. I'm so proud of her. I believe you will hear pumpkin's playing together with true delight. Here is the link to the song.

I'm so proud of my student for creating such a fun Halloween song. Keep up the amazing work. Always keep trying to make up new ideas. What are your students composing? Would like to know. Thanks for your support. Blessings.
